When a Superbowl ad announces that a new Tv show pilot is available for only 24 hours you know that the episode one podcast will be there.

We'll take a second look in March when the show officially premieres, but we do a quick check in on the pilot for Hanna, then get into the 77th episode business. Recaps of what we've watched since the 66th, including the fall premieres we kept watching or quit.

Also Chris Loves the Masked Singer and tries to talk Steve into it.

We whole heartedly welcome the age of the Groundhog day as a TV show trope. Russian Doll was a lot of fun and we want more dammit! Feauring Natasha Lyonne (American Pie, Orange Is The New Black) and co created by Amy Poehler. Steve and Chris take a look ( a week or two late) at the newest Netflix sensation!

Also we pitch our own Groundhog day based shows, and crossovers!

A first for the episode one podcast, a show Chris and Steve saw taped! Yes, it's time for our 3rd wrestling show, 4th if you count GLOW. And speaking of GLOW it's Women of Wrestling! Founded in 2000 by the same guy who founded GLOw it's women's wrestling empowered!

And with our guest Emily Praat (@emilyofpratt) we dive deep and discuss the new WOW on AXS TV and dig into the original TV premiere back in 2000. What's different, what's the same, how it's improved. A lot of what works and what doesn't.

Plus Emily makes her pitch for Elon Musk to invest in a new wrestling sensation right up his alley!

All this plus crossover son the Episode One Podcast!

It really happened. They really remade Roswell. One of Chris's favorite shows of all time. Does Roswell New Mexico live up to the legacy of the original? Does the original live up to the memories? Also what about Tess?

Steve weighs in as someone completely fresh to the series, and we talk about the politics injected into the reboot. Do they work? Distract?

And as always 30 second pitches and crossovers.

It's 80s week... or is it 90s week on the episode one podcast? Hey, why not both!

After a brief digression into whether or not Millenials have watched The Phantom Menace. This week Steve and Chris take a look back at the pilot for The Goldbergs, look at the first attempt at a Goldbergs Spin-off: 1990-something, then we take a quick look at a unique episode of the Goldbergs, featuring Adam Sandler. Then we dig into Schooled, Matt Ryan and Ruben Amaro Jr.

All this and 30-second pitches goes old school... really old school

Hey Everyone, Happy New Year! after a 18 minute recap and some awards for 2018, steve and Chris get into the latest chapter of the Freeform Cinematic universe. Good Trouble! Premiering on Freeform January 8th, it had an early premiere on streaming and we were glad to bring it to you!.

A spinoff from the long-running Fosters (A show neither Chris nor Steve ever watched), Good Trouble is a pretty fun dive into "two young women in the city". What worked (Gael's abs), What didn't (understanding LA parking regulations) and more!

All this plus Crossovers and 30 second pitches on this episode one Podcast. Follow us on Twitter twitter.com/episodeonepod instagram.com/episodeonepod Thank for listening!

Hey, if I upload it before New Year's ends, it still counts as our Holiday episode right?

This time we are going back to a couple shows we've done before. Pretty Little Liars we're digging into their Holiday episode from Season 5 (specifically Episode 13, How the 'A' stole Christmas) And the Holiday episode of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (episode 11).

Enjoy this belated Holiday gift. We'll be back soon with some new Episode ones, including a reboot of one of Chris's favorite shows.
